To get a real water tight shower pan you will want to use a Tile Redi® shower base. Tile Redi® shower pans come already waterproofed, and include a built in drain and curb. Curb less entry is also an available option with your Tile Redi® shower pan. Along with waterproofed Tile Redi® shower pans, we also offer Aqua Shield waterproofing membrane so that you can waterproof over your cement board or dry walled walls. Since cement board IS NOT a water proofer it is VERY important to follow through with your wall waterproofing in your shower.
